From Cancer Survivor to Heart Health Warrior: The Inspiring Journey of Gizelle Pettingill

When Gizelle received her cancer diagnosis in 2016, it shook the entire Pettingill family to the core. Her daughter Katie recalls, “She’d always been our rock, the one who offers strength. But right then, she needed us.”

The Cancer Battle

Gizelle was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma, a double hit, meaning it affects multiple genes. After four months of chemotherapy, doctors delivered the verdict, "It's not getting any better and prepare for the worst". She was given six months to live.

Discovering the Silent Threat

With her back to the wall, Gizelle searched for an unconventional remedy – and found the Nature Works Best clinic in Tempe, Arizona.

During a routine thermography scan, a doctor stumbled upon a hidden danger in Gizelle's body – a clogged artery in the vital path from her heart to her brain. The statistics painted a grim picture – heart disease ranks as the leading cause of global mortality, with cancer following closely behind. Gizelle found herself battling not one, but the top two threats to human life.

The Road to Recovery

Miraculously, Gizelle beat her cancer and shifted her focus to the plaque in her artery. She soon stumbled across the research of Robert F. Furchgott, Ferid Murad, and Louis J. Ignarro and their groundbreaking discoveries in the role of l-arginine and l-citrulline in enhancing the body's production of nitric oxide, which dilates the walls of the cardiovascular system, allowing blood to flow more easily through the body. In 1998, their research won a Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine! Gizelle began using a supplement based on their formula and a few months later, the results were nothing short of miraculous – her thermography scans showed that the once-thick plaque in her arteries had vanished.

Lessons Learned and Gratitude

Having witnessed the power of l-arginine and l-citrulline in her own life, Gizelle felt compelled to share her experience with loved ones. However, the cost of these products was a barrier for many. In an act of determination, Gizelle embarked on a mission to create her own line of l-arginine and l-citrulline named Heart Saver Plus. Using the same Nobel Prize-winning formula of 1998 as a base, Gizelle launched Heart Saver Plus in 2019 and has since been determined to make these life-saving products accessible to all in need.
